Passionate about education, Dr. Garcia received her Master of Science in biomedical sciences from The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas, where she later earned her doctorate in osteopathic medicine. Just one year before pursuing her master’s, she graduated magna cum laude from The University of Texas Pan-American, with a Bachelor of Science in biology, chemistry, and medical Spanish, in Edinburg, Texas, in 2011.
Dr. Garcia completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency through The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, while working with patients at Women’s Clinic of the Rio Grande Valley.
Dr. Garcia is always searching for new ways to connect with her patients. Not only does she speak fluent English and Spanish to better serve her patients from all backgrounds, but she also gives women the tools and information they need to make educated decisions regarding their own health.
